Administrator – Kimberly Richards
I graduated from Loma Linda University in 2002. I have been a nursing home admin. since 2005, and I earned my CAHF leadership academy certs in 2010. I started my career in Longterm care as a dietary aid and have worked in numerous departments. I think it gave me a better understanding of the complete working of a long term care facility, making me able to better anticipate the needs of the people we care for and help my staff meet the expectations and goals of the individual person in our care. The highlight of my day is having the opportunity to be with the residents of MNRC.
Medical Director – Dr. Tarek Zaki Mahdi, MD, CMD FAAFP, HMDC
Doctor Mahdi graduated from the Sofia Medical Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria in 1983 and completed his residency at the University Of Louisville Hospital, specializing in Family Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. He also is a Certified Medical Director by the American Medical Director’s Association.
As a long-standing active member of the Riverside and Corona communities, Doctor Mahdi strives for excellence in patient-centered care. He remains an advocate for patients and physicians, as exemplified through work with groups such as the Riverside County Medical Association. He understands the decisional complexities of large and small healthcare alike though first-hand experience.
Director of Rehabilitation – Jenny Padgett
Jenny has a BA from Loma Linda University. Jenny has been a physical therapist and Rehabilitation Director for MRNC for Decades. Jenny’s specialty is mentoring her staff and P.T students to provide the excellent, compassionate and goal driven rehabilitation that makes us stand out.
Dietary Supervisor – Maria Salas
I have lived in Riverside, CA for 19 years, been married for 27 years, and have 4 children and 2 grandchildren. For fun, I love to go walking and try new recipes. I like to take my vacations at the beach or up in the mountains, and my love for hiking makes these places special to me. I have been in food service for 25 years and a supervisor for the last 4 years and love all things food and have made a goal to make the best tasting, healthy meals to meet our patient’s nutritional needs.
Activities Director – Amel Boucher
The goal of the MRNC Activities department is to provide on-going activities programs 7 days per week designed to meet the resident’s physical, mental, psychosocial, and spiritual well-being. Our department is made up of staff and volunteers who enjoy spending quality one-on-one time as well as encouraging residents to participate in activities of their choosing that meets their needs.
Maintenance/Housekeeping/Laundry – Frank Fausto
I started working in the healthcare industry in 1973 as a house-keeper for Beverly Manor, moving up to a janitor and then to an assistant supervisor until 1977 where I was offered a position as a supervisor with Care Enterprises. From there, I was offered the position of maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry that I still hold today. Over the years I have always strived to improve myself and my abilities, and I have taken many courses and received certs from 1982 Electrical RCC, 1989 AVAC Technician ESCO Institute, from 1999 to 2005 I earned certs in Infectious Control/ bloodborne pathogens/ O2 concentrators service/restroom sanitation/ Fire and Safety. I received the Shining Star Award from Magnolia Rehab in 2012, that same year I completed the NATE course in Refrigerants.
Social Services – Martha Martinez
The past 10 years have been filled with an endless array of opportunities that have allowed me to learn and grow, expanding my knowledge and skills so that I can best meet the needs of the people that we serve at MRNC. I am thankful for being part of such a dedicated team and being able to set my primary focus on helping you and your loved ones to the best of my abilities.
Business Office Manager – Angel Knight
I have been employed at MRNC since May of 1997 and have enjoyed working for this company in both Medical Records and then in November 2013 moving into the billing department. Patients have always come first with Magnolia Rehab and I like being part of that.
From 1990-93 I was a veterinary technician at Parker Ranch on Hawaii’s Big Island of Kona. In 1993-95 I moved back to the mainland and studied for my LVN at Long Beach City College and worked as a CNA at Pacific Hospital of Long Beach. 1995 I received my LVN and worked for Pacific Hospital for the next 8 years. In 2003 I started at Alamitos -Belmont Rehab Center(longterm) as MDS 2.0, and for the next 5 yrs 2008 -2013 I went to New Orange Hills (longterm) as lead coordinator MDS 3.0. In 2013 and 2014 I worked at Capistrano Beach care center as the MDS Coordinator. Dec. 1st 2014 to Present I have been with Magnolia Rehab.
Medical Records Coordinator – Jennifer Panganiban LVN
I’m an LVN born in the Philippines, I and have lived in California since 1992. I earned my vocational degree in nursing at Summit Career College and worked as a charge nurse for ten years. I have been working as a Medical Records Coordinator since 2009. I have a strong understanding of the HIPAA requirements and exceptional organization skills. I also love spending my time with my family. I enjoy traveling out of the state and out of the country. I encourage young people to study, to not stop learning, and to follow your dreams, no matter what!
